Hello guys,
After exploring the old town, I’d like to show you a few nice places where you can eat and drink in Udine.
Of course, there are a plenty of cool bars and Cafés but as usual I will only talk about places
where I have already been to and that I like.
Let’s kick off with this cool Café/Restaurant just behind the castle of Udine and near the Church of Santa Maria.
The location is perfect. You can see the castle and the big garden behind the castle.
If you walk just just 30 meters, you’ll have a good view of Udine from above.
The drinks are cheap, especially for a Café that is so well located.
This bar/restaurant is located just behind Loggio del lionello.
The ceiling is really high which gives the bar/restaurant a lot of volume.
The atmosphere inside the bar is fantastic and the decor is very old school.
I went there to have a drink and once again, I was surprise because it was not expensive.
You can also drink at the terrace and look at local people passing by.
This bar is in the back corner of Palazzo d’Aranco (the city hall of Udine).
3/ Adoro Caffè:
This nice café is located in Piazza Del Duomo, near the Duomo di Santa Maria Annunziata.
I have been there a couple of times alrealdy and I love this place.
The atmosphere is very laid back and they often play cool music.
You can have a drink there and also buy sandwiches, toasts, salads, croissants etc …
They make fresh Toasts and Sandwiches just before your eyes.
Last time I went there, I had a glass of fresh orange juice and a big toast for just 8 €.
I highly recommend this place.
