Below are some of the programs that I propose for the 2019/2020 season :
Program 1: Karst Region (Slovenia)
– Visit of Štanjel.
– Wine tasting.
– Bike ride in the Karst Region.
Program 2 (sporty): Karst Region (Italy)
– Visit of Grotta Gigante.
– Visit of the Temple of Monte Grisa.
– Take a long walk (4 km) on the scenic Napoleon’s Road between the city of Prosecco and Opicina.
– Eat local food and in drink local wine at an Osmiza in a Italian village.
Program 3 (cultural): Karst Region (Italy)
– Visit of Sistiana.
– Visit the Castle of Duino.
– Visit of Villaggio del Pescatore.
– Visit of San Giovanni di Duino.
– Visit of Monfalcone.
Program 4: Vipava Valley (Slovenia/Italy)
– Visit of Cerje.
– Visit of the Monastery of Kostanjevica (crypt of the last Bourbon king of France).
– Visit of Nova Gorica.
– Visit of Sveta Gora.
– Visit of Gorizia.
Program 5: Ljubljana (Slovenia)
– Visit of the city center (central market, Prešeren Square, Nebotičnik etc …).
– Take a stroll in Tivoli Park.
– Take the boat along the Ljubljanica river.
Program 6: Trieste (Italy)
– Miramare Park and Miramare Castle.
– Take stroll along the Barcola promenade.
– Visit the city center and Piazza Unità d’Italia.
– Castle of San Giusto or Risiera di San Sabba.
Program 7: Postojna & Predjama (Slovenia)
– Visit the Postojna Cave (one of the biggest in Europe).
– Visit the Predjama Castle.
Program 8: Along the Slovenian coastline
– Visit of Piran and/or Portorož.
– Visit of Strunjan.
– Visit of Izola.
– Visit of Koper.
Program 9: Bled (Slovenia)
– Take a ride on the traditional “Pletna” boat on lake Bled.
– Visit the island and its church in the middle of the lake.
– Visit the Bled Castle.
– Take a walk along the Vintgar Gorge.
